He is a very nice and intelligent man. He truly knows alot about anatomy. However, it would have been nice if he could condense down the information. Having to keep up with everything he says in class, including the dozens upon dozens of powerpoints, kaltura lectures, and h.w. made this class unbearable with a full load. Hardest class offered @Elon

Anatomy Lab with DC was the hardest but best class I have ever taken. He asks more of students than all other lab professors, but do not let that turn you away. After having DC, you will feel very accomplished and actually know anatomy. If you have DC definitely buy a Primal access, and the Atlas of Clinical Gross Anatomy. Take DC!!

Dr. Clark is the best prof I've had at Elon. He knows so much about anatomy that his lectures include a ton of info, but he clarifies really well if you go to his office. He genuinely cares about student success & even hosts weekly review sessions. Learned so much in lab, too. You'll def study hard, but will truly know anatomy after takin him.

Anatomy is really tough. DC is fairly disorganized bc he does so many other things besides teach this class. Lectures are somewhat hard to follow and tests can seem impossible, but you'll ultimately get a good grade if you show him that you're trying. Make sure to go and talk to him in office hours so he gets to know you-- it'll save your grade!!

Anatomy is an overall difficult course. There is a lot of memorization and it can be a bit intimidating. DC works really hard to help you out by giving loads of extra credit. He can be a bit scatter brain and its hard to keep up with his lectures at times but if you can stay focus you'll be okay. Be prepared to work really hard!

Lectures are very disorganized and long. He is extremely intelligent so it is hard to teach those who aren't anatomy experts. Go to office hours--they are very helpful and he likes to see that you are taking control of your learning. He's a really great guy and will do anything to help you succeed as long as you take advantage. Exams are very hard.

I have him for elon 101. Extremely friendly guy, but don't bother sending him an email because he won't even look at it. When it comes to registration approval for your four year plan you better have done your research because he's clueless. Love the guy hate how he runs his class.

Funny guy. But, does not deserve this job. Awful instructor. Utterly confusing His tests cover material that is never discussed. Tests were beyond impossible. Most of failed several. He is unreliable. Do not take his class, if possible. I seriously resent Elon for employing such sub-par faculty.

Doesn't respond to emails, takes forever to return tests and homework, not helpful, confusing assignments and vague guidelines, doesn't put grades up, and he gets mixed up often. Also, he does not post his office hours online and trying to meet with him is difficult.

He is not helpful and I did not enjoy his teaching. His assignments made no sense and he often got confused when lecturing, which we had to repeatedly ask about. He does not respond to emails although he says he reads them and does not put up grades anywhere.

He will not give warnings to let students know when the homework, quizzes, or any assignments are due. He also will not explain any of these assignments. He does not believe in email & has yet to respond to a single students email in class. The classes are pure lecture and the tests use material on anything but what is talked about in class

I had an amazing experience in my class with Dr. Clark. It is the most work I have ever done for a single class though. He won't go over all of the information in class, but if you literally memorize every handout/ppt available on moodle (there are lots) you will get A's on the test. GO TO OFFICE HOURS, so helpful/interesting

One of the most thrilling teachers at Elon. He loves what he does and loves to spread his knowledge about anatomy. Although not super clear in class he is extremely helpful in office hours and able to answer any question you throw his way. He also is a very funny guy and make sure to get your fair share of stories when in his class.

Dr. Clark is a really nice and funny guy. However, his class was the most poorly prepared class I have ever taken, even with two TAs. It was always confusing what we had to do, what sheets we needed, and what would be expected of us. Tests are pretty unpredictable but most slide by with an A or B.

Had him for anatomy lecture and lab. Nice guy with a weird sense of humor. He loves anatomy and tries his best to communicate the material - he doesn't make the class hard, the class is hard because there is too much material to fit in one semester. If you take anatomy, he is your best bet

Don't worry, it's possible to get an A in anatomy. It's tough, just keep up with your work, go to class, and get e-mail questions (you'll learn), etc.

Dr. Clark is a great teacher. If you want to take a challenging biology course where you will learn a great amount, he is the teacher to take. Many comments written on here about him being impossible or a bad teacher are written by so-so students who are not up for being challenged.

part 2-its obvious that he doesn't know what he's doing, when we ask a question and he immediately looks to his TA's for help. not responsible at all... although difficult to judge, since he's never in class, always in and out. avoid.
