Ms. Korpita loves to help you with anything you need. She taught me a lot about what I need for medical school and what resources are available to help me. We usually ended class early sometime after only a couple of minutes. She invited us to eat dinner at her house. We only used the U101 book about twice. Easy A if you show up and participate.

This lady is the best the University of South Carolina has to offer!! Not only an Univ 101 professor, she is also a pre-professional advisor!! She is the best thing that happened to me in college.. I wouldnt know what to do if it wasnt for her!! She is soo knowledgable and helpful with any questions one might have!! TAKE HER if at all possible!!!

i LOVED going to ms.korpitas class! She's a great lady and awesome person. Made many life long friends in that class with her. She even invited us over for dinner one night & the food was amazing! Take her she's a great teacher and person to talk to!!!

Ms. Korpita is a really really nice lady and her class is super easy. In the beginning she makes it look like it will be a lot of work, but we didn't really end up doing anything at all. She only came to about half of the classes though and had her TA's grade everything. Overall, I would definitely take her for U101.

A good GPA booster. Easy A. U will get a few reading assignments and get quized on. If u read u should be fine, or get a friend/partner who will grade ure quiz and hook u up. 1 test which is VERy easy. They say u make friends in the class. I know all those people from class but im not friends with any of them. POINTLESS. Does not help pre-med.

University 101 is pretty pointless, but I liked professor korpita. compared to the other sections that i heard people complaining about, this one seems a lot easier. you learn a lot about applying to medical school and you dont have to do much work.

First off, she came to about 50 percent of our classes. We still had to be there, but she wasn't. She doesn't grade her work, her TA's do. THe class is pretty much pointless. It was so far an easy grade, but an aggravating course to take.

Ms. Korpita is wonderful! She's easy to talk to, a great listener, and gives great advice. While she is laidback, she expects you to do at least the assigned work. You'll learn a lot about the medical profession in general.
