i took judd for three classes. loved him!! he was challenging, interesting, and funny. this is a college course; it is supposed to be difficult and challenging. he is very accessible and very understanding. he is the only professor i remember from school, only one that made an impression, and only one i felt i learned from.

prof. judd was a really great instructor. this course is really difficult but he managed to make it entertaining. he really likes using shakespeare and that's all you read in 1A if you take him lol. lectures are clear, big on grammar so watch out. is clear about what he wants in the essays. really good class...recommend taking it with him.

Judd is an awesome professor! he really cares about ur grade and is willing to help you if u need it. if u go to class and actually try you shouldn't get anything lower than a "C", unless ur trying to fail. Uses Shakespeare in 1A but essay topics vary. Fairly easy grader on essays, but he's picky about run on's. Overall AWESOME teacher!!! take him!

Matt Judd is by far one of the best teachers here at Mt. Sac. As long as you go to class and actually listen it would be impossible for you to get anything less then an A. He tells you exactly what he expects. He will even look at your paper before you turn it in so you can get the best grade possible.

I just had him for the 1st session of summer and he was not that bad. We had an essay due just about every week. His jokes are dumb, and they are not even the dumb funny ones. Sometimes he can offend you. Plus he is republican so if you have democratic ideas be prepared to defend yourself.

he is a good teacher...i was horrible in english before and i took his summer session...i got a "b" in his class...he does use shakespeare but you can write about different topics....there is an essay every week but it is doable...he does call on you but what teacher doesn't...i recommend him...
