Comment:

Although a wee bit disorganised Monika was the most passionate teacher. She may not practice what she preaches but she inspires and encourages students to get into sustainability! Overall a great class, I reccomend it.

The class is really all about common sense, nothing you dont already know. Just study a few terms, quotes and dont write anything thats too controversial on the tests and you'll do well in the class.

Awful prof. Disappeared for the week prior to the final so if we had any questions, too bad. The readings are a waste of time... the notes are a waste of time... the class is a waste of time. The content could easily be taught be 3-4 hours instead of 3-4 months.

Monika is a very nice lady, however is totally useless as a prof. Assignments will take a LONG time to be returned. The class readings are useless and her notes are jumbled, unorganized, and often contradict previous slides and readings. Her exams contained many logical flaws (finding the least logically wrong answer) she tries to trick you.

Im afraid monica has grown senile. She is disorganized, difficult to understand, and at times delusional. On a positive note, she is very friendly and passionate about her profession. Take my advice though and take sustainability with Mike. Everyone in his class seems to enjoy the course much more.

Extremely nice lady but has no idea how to teach. She is very well educated in her field but ends up just going off on different tangents all class. There is no textbook so it is hard to know what you are supposed to be learning. She marks personal assignments very easy however don't expect them back for a month or two! Extremely unorganized!

Monika is a great person and super passionate about what she is teaching but has no idea how to teach. she often goes off on tangents that are irrelevant - she always goes over class time due to this. She's not very helpful when it comes to preparing for exams or answering your questions. Finally she's very very disorganized.

I LOVE Monika! Very sweet lady, loves her students, loves her subject, and great joyful energy. However, it was hard to understand this course because there is no text book, and a lot of the concepts are "airy". Spend your time memorizing the key concepts and models (usually two slides from entire class) and try not to get confussed.

Monika you are so darn helpful I hate to say it; but the amount of readings, long waste of time at the start of class, and difficult exams are not good. As you have such incredible experience, having owned a motor oil company, I expected more down to earth discussion and not as much airy stuff.

Incomprehensible delivery of very simple concepts that otherwise could be taught in 2-3 hours. Final exam mult. choice selections included double negatives and mutually-exclusive terms. Grading was generally subjective and petulant. Nice person, however.

Taught the second 1/2 of the course and was constantly talking around herself. Often asked questions of the class and then never answered them. If you have a ? about her material go to Mike, he is a much clearer resource. Use the questions at the end of the lectures, and if she's not clear in class, interrupt her and get her to answer the object

Taught 1st half of the course. Ridiculous workload of multiple and somtimes lengthy readings from an expensive supplementary textbook. A fuzzy thinker who goes on tangents constantly. In person, she is a very nice and obviously very bright lady with real world experience, but her lectures can be painful. Study the slides first and foremost.
