Dunbar really helped me in BMB 251 and 252. She knows what she is talking about and she is easy to learn from. She is hilarious and easy to ask questions to. Ever since I moved to the University Park Campus, I wish I had more BMB prof like Dunbar

Be prepared for at least 5-8 pop quizzes. They do help you for the exam. Do the learning objectives to study for exams. Lots of reading and videos to watch every week. In class, it is basically a review everyday of what you did outside of class.

Dunbar is a pretty average professor to me. She loves participation and group work. She's pretty respected around the campus from staff and students. She's really cool.

The material is difficult and she makes you actually apply it instead of just letting you spit out information on a test. Make sure to study and do all the pre class assignments. She's super nice and will always try to help you. Make sure to go to class and you'll do great.

Dr Dunbar did a good job of running this course for the first time. You have to be able to teach yourself the material outside of class because it's a hybrid course. I wish she would lecture more, because she's really good at it. The book helps a lot with studying. Some of the exams were pretty tough due to the amount of material on them.

One of the best professors at PSU alongside Dr. Shibley. Loves to see her students succeed and learn the material. Always so helpful at anytime. A great person and professor. Definitley take Dr. Dunbar if you get the chance. You will love coming to class.

She is really 1 of the best profs alongside Shibley. She cares about her student's success and is forgiving. She is willing to give help and organizes effective ways of learning like group work instead of just lecture. Although her exams aren't per say easy, she definitely tries to make info clear and gives help! Not to mention she is super nice!

This class is heavy on groupwork; not so much on teaching. We'd walk into class and she tells us to "get in your groups" and write about a subject she has yet to go over. Staring confusedly at each other was most of the class. You'd have better luck teaching yourself from the book. The class did get better later on but the beginning was terrible.

Dr. Dunbar is very intelligent and very very very nice. She really knows what shes talking about, and she gets really excited and tends to talk really fast. So you should definitely be ready for quick note taking. She always willing to help, and re clarify if you get confused.

Dr. Dunbar is a wonderful professor. Attending her lectures is a must if you want to understand the material and do well on exams. She's very nice and wants to see you do well. I had a very positive experience in this class. As a critique,she never reads emails so if you have questions seek her out in person. Her exams are borderline ridiculous at times, and she knows this. She offers remedial points and buffer projects. On the bright side, She is very approachable, reasonable, and easy to talk to. txt book optional.

Maureen Dunbar is a legend. She is by far one of the most amazing professors that Penn State Berks has to offer to its students. She is so helpful, so available, and so empathetic towards her students. On top of all of this, she is extremely intelligent and has done A LOT during her career. I would recommend taking one of her classes to anyone!

Excellent proffessor. Really knows her stuff. Goes over every test question, does not move on in lecture until every one knows what to do. If you have the option, take bio with her. If it requires you to move a class around to do so, it is worth it
