Dr. Erber seems like she is not paying attention all the time. She told us not to be a clinical psychologist because they rely on intuition not facts. She also made us buy her book even though it wasn't available until halfway through the semester. I wouldn't take this teacher if you want to learn from a teacher.

She's a nice person but not a great professor, her lectures pretty much just repeat what's in the book which doesn't cover what all is in the tests/quizzes. DO NOT FORGET THE ONLINE WORK

I enjoyed my PSYC200 class with Dr. Erber. She is a very understanding and passionate psychology professor. I had my first child while in her class and she was very gracious and worked with me so that I wouldn't fall behind. I recommend reading the chapters and completing assignments several days before they are due because more will come up soon.

Dr. Erber shows up late most of the time. She did not have anything graded for us until weeks later. I spent her class time talking to my cohorts about what WE had to teach ourselves via HER book. Once she made us play charades while we waited 30+ minutes after she would "be right back". NEVER take her as a teacher if you want consistency.

The class itself is a lot of work but Dr. Erber really tries hard to make sure students can keep up. There's extra crefit opportunities like online quizzes and bonus questions on exams. 4 exams that are a bit tough but if you do the readings and come to the in class peer sessions you'll pass. She's willing to help outside of class time too.

if you cant teach yourself, dont take this class bottom line. you cannot miss one class. and if you miss a quiz online youre forced to drop the class. tests are ridiculously hard, and if you fail more than one you fail the class. dont take this class if you have anything else going on in life such as work or a full load of classes

This is the first time I rate my professor, but it's also a first time that I had such a "special" one. First of all, Dr. Erber is pretty mean at times and super confusing . Never have anything graded sooner than a month. When You ask her for help, most likely will make you feel like an idiot... If you have a choice, DO NOT take a class with her.

Not the best professor. I don't recommend her at all. Shes is not organized, doesn't get our grades on time and honestly doesn't care about you. You have to do your own work and ignore her as a teacher. Will not help you and tell you whats on the exam or not you have to study everything and shes doesn't care about you as a student.

Dr. Erber is a wonderful professor. She is rather a 'free-style' type in her teaching. Does not place heavy emphasis on structure, however, she makes sure that you learn and remember what's important. She is very supportive, knowledgeable, and understanding. It was great to be in her class.

Very unorganized and never actually starts class on time. We followed the syllabus only during week 1 after that we were behind the entire time. No one knew what their grade was and said "everyone is doing fine." The only time we knew our grade was at the end of the semester. She's a great lady just not meant to be teaching.

Awful, I consider myself to be a good student, it was impossible to be one in her class. It was frustrating how she never answered emails and posted our grades so late we never knew how bad we were doing until it was too late. Didn't learn one thing.

She is the worst teacher I have ever had. This class is group work based because she doesn't like to teach. The class average for our first test was 60%! She doesn't do study guides and you DO NOT go over everything that is on the test - you need the book and have to study on your own. Would NOT recommend this class to anyone.

For me personally it was a very disappointing experience. I was excited to take her class because I heard great things about her. However, I reached out to her many times. There was no support & no response to my emails. It was very frustrating. Don't do your capstone with her! She is unorganized & always 2 busy 2 help . You will be on your own.

Social Psych w/ Lab. Dr. Erber is an amazing teacher with a very positive attitude. Doesnt talk down to students & is always very helpful & friendly. Extremely intelligent as well. This class has a lot of class work and group work. Class is IMPORTANT to attend. there is a whole array of assignments & projects. But it IS a lab. I recommend this one!

Dr. Erber is an amazing teacher! She is fun and helpful and really relates her teachings to real situations. I am a senior so I have taken a few classes with her, but they were all great. The only negative I would have to put is that as my advisor she seems a little put off when I come to her for help.
