I LOVED this professor. He is parttime and gives GREAT real world connections and examples. His assignments and tests are spelled out so they are easy to follow. The text really isn't needed if you really pay attention to his lectures. He is a really nice guy and treats the class as adults. HIGHLY recommend this professor.

Great guy, great teaching style. Knows his stuff and is more than fair. Read his ratings here and I guess he's gotten much better at responding to messages and emails because i never had a problem and never heard any of my classmates say they did. Even gave us his celly and alternate email addy. Tests were straight forward. Loved him. Recommd.

He is a good prof. Solid understanding and good at explaining assignments. Do all of them, but requires you to think outside the box for recognition. Turned in my final paper, but he never returned it to me. He is super busy outside of class, so catch him in class to ask questions. He has a hard time responding to messages. at least with me.

Nice guy, I agree he was laid back, and had a good sense of humor. Fair grader, most material on test comes from notes and lecture available on Black Board. Curved our test, and not a heavy work load, but you learn a lot. A few long papers to write. Study the notes and you should easily pass without stressing out too much. I recommend taking him.

Quizzes every week based on readings. Tests were pretty easy and changed format based on how much he wanted to grade. Papers were easy except you have to interview/observe three children at different ages. Not good at returning assignments quickly or responding to emails in a timely manner.

Awesome professor, funny, lay back and flexible. Long 3 hour Saturday classes were flying (thnx Dr Myers). Strongly recommended.
