Maureen is lovely. She is VERY academic and has high standards for all written assignments. Very approachable but is a bit awkward socially. She is great otherwise. Must do the readings for her classes ( I took LBST 315 and LBST 360 with her).

AMAZING PROF!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. SO CARING AND UNDERSTANDING. INTELLIGENT. She embodies what a professor should be like. David Livingstone and Mark Blackell could learn a lot about being human from her. She should give them private lessons on how not to be pretentious and condescending, although nothing would sink into their thick skulls.

Maureen is a fabulous lecturer, knowledgeable, open minded. Marking- being that she is a skilled editor, her standards are very high, difficult to get an A on a paper (make sure you have another "eye" to proof read anything before handing it in to her). She is very helpful at answering questions in and out of class. I enjoyed her and the class.

I only had Okun for lectures, as our class was split in to a few smaller groups for discussion classes. Her lectures were perfectly fine, but the memory that overwhelms everything else is that of her several-feet-long grey hair.
