She is the best lab Professor ever! She makes class a lot of fun and time goes by so fast. I'm not a science person at all but she still made it fun! She gives so much extra credit opportunities. There are 2 test the midterm and the final but there is a quiz every lab but it's only 5 questions. She gives amazing review sheets! Only had her for lab.

BEST professor I've had at Nassau. She is super funny! and a great teacher. She respects all students and always wants to see you pass. She's respected by the entire class and she's incredibly personable. Loved this teacher.

Professor Valente was by far the best professor I have had at Nassau. Although her tests are hard she provides powerpoint slides to help clarify the information. The textbook is a must have and the course, Bio 101 has fun labs and the lectures can be fun if you make them. Very clear cut.

Really great professor who cares about her students. Her class isn't easy by any means and there's alot of information that needs to be covered. My advice is if your going to take BIO 101 take her! she goes off topic a little but she is really friendly and bubbly. you definitely wont dread her class!

Easiest Bio class I've taken. She's fun, she make's the topic interesting and easy. Her homework is copying the summaries from the book which feel like busy work. She gives extra points on the test if you show her you studied with index cards. She's an easy A if you study even the night before the test.

Miss V. was the most interactive professor I've had during my journey through Nassau. She's hilarious! Even though I had her at 8:30 in the morning, she was bouncing with energy. You'll look forward to her class. And she gave us everything we needed to know for the exams. Awesomeeee!Lab was the only thing that bothered me.

Extremely helpful and friendly. Easy to talk to. Her tests are challenging, I can say that much, but even with that, if you try your hardest in that class and have a good attendance record, she'll pass you. Lab can be daunting at times, but it's worth it.
