It's important to not skip class when learning a new language. She's clear and extremely helpful. I loved her class. She's caring and she's always more than willing to help. She allows you to make up quizzes and tests if you were not in class or if you don't do well you can correct it for extra credit. This is a group class, beware who you sit near

Cantoni is amazing! She's super easy and really chill. She cares about her students and likes to engage with us. Whoever you sit near on the first day will be your group for the rest of the semester. There are individual and group quizzes, tests and there's a group project. She's really awesome and funny. She made learning a new language fun.

She is HARD. She is not clear at all about what is whatit's half Italian, half accented English. You're stuck with who you sit with first day. She doesn't warn about work online, so due dates can slip by. We had ten tests in the last four weeks. No joke. Tests are messy and hard to read. You don't practice speaking Italian in class. She hisses.

Ive had other language classes before but never felt so lost and behind! Its only day 3 of class so maybe she will get better but so far I can not understand her, lectures are hard, notes on the board are a rushed mess, and we have a quiz this week. Ive never dropped a class before but I will probably drop hers & ive always wanted to learn Italian.

Professora Cantoni rocks! Lots of group work, such as group quizzes and assignments. Be careful who you sit next to on day one, they may be your partners. Cantoni is engaging and goes over the material really well. She takes her time so that everyone understands. Highly recommend!

She is an amazing professor. Your attendance is crucial because she moves fairly quickly, which is understandable. You have to pay attention because she speaks mostly in Italian during class, but the more you pay attention the more that won't matter. She is concerned more with you understanding the material than she is with your grade.

I liked her class so much!! She's so great. One of my best teachers ever. Facile, divertente, e interesante, prendi il corso con lei. She made me take a great interest in Italiano and learn the language and speak it as I speak Spanish or English.

Maurizia is very cute. Compared to other language classes, this wasn't as thourough, I didn't learn as much of the language as I expected from taking 4 semesters of French at Palomar but it was worth it. The A is easy especially if you've taken a language before.

My second class with Mrs. Cantoni. A wonderful person, very intelligent, sweet, and helpful. She knows how to teach this language; she is a native. All classmates adore her as do I. But, she is not an easy A, you need to do your work and earn your way. She makes you want to do the work, though.
