DO. NOT. TAKE HER CLASS. EVER. I repeat, DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. No book and no explanation. Super rude and makes you feel stupid. I can't even explain how awful both she and her class are. The only thing you are graded on are quizzes and exams. ABORT MISSION.

I would avoid taking any course with this professor. She is rude and disrespectful when a student asks a question or for further explanation. The class gets yelled at for taking notes because she "emails them to the students." However, she only emails them half the time. If my major required another class with her, I would switch my degree.

Speaks too quietly. Very rude and makes you feel stupid for asking a question. Terrible at explaining, you have to teach yourself. The only good thing is that she gives extra credit on tests.

she is scatter-brained and talked to the smart board. also she is rude to students juts because we ask a question. also she is hard to get a hold of outside of class. bad at explaining.

Completely awful. Speaks in a mind numbingly monotone voice and if you ask her any question at all be ready for her to make you look stupid in front of the entire class. Expect to see something once and know how to do it. Avoid at all costs no matter the class.

One of the rudest and most unapproachable professor I've had. Not willing to answer questions and expects you to understand it right away. If you skip, you will not pass.

She is one of the rudest people I have ever met. I went to her office hours for help and she basically calls you stupid and be-little's you to the point that you don't want to be there. Do not skip any classes or you will not pass. She has no book, or any out of class info to use. she uses a Ti-84 to teach and doesn't actually tell you how do it.

She is so sassy and totally not willing to answer questions in class. She will respond by saying we should already know how to do this. She is sometimes hard to understand. She does drop the lowest exam and quiz grade but not worth the frustration. I wouldn't take her if you can avoid it.

Comment:

Dr. Pararai is one of the worst teachers I've ever had. As a physics major I'd like to think I'm pretty good at math, and she makes it difficult to understand. Most of her lectures involve her writing out what to do on a calculator, instead of teaching formulas that can be used. I would advise anybody to seek a different professor, for any class.

She speaks in a monotone. She also writes out the notes instead of using powerpoints. However, she gives some bonus and drops the lowest quiz and exam grades. Also, you get to have a cheat sheet on the exams and quizzes. Not bad if you pay attention.

She wasn't my first choice, but she's not THAT bad. She is just very unapproachable. She drops the lowest quiz and exam scores. If you need a questioned answer, don't email her because she won't answer. She's hard to understand and moves through the material fast. You get what you put into it. BUT she grades on a curve, so you get some points back.

The class was quite hard, but as a person who does well in math it was kind of easy. I didnt buy the textbook and still managed to earn a B. Sit in the front of the class and attend office hours, she will see that youre trying and assist you.

One of the best classes that I ever had. She is a really helpful professor. A lots of quizzes. If you do your homework by your self, then you will succeed. You will see homework problems in her exam papers. Recommend to take her classes.

THe best professor ever, had no knowledge in statistics but was able to get an A provided you do a lot of questions on your own and take tests and home works seriously.
