Comment:

Very clear lectures, extremely approachable and helpful. Her tests are quiet tricky, but its all from her notes and assignments. She likes to twist things around a bit so you have to really go through all her notes, concept questions, sample questions and assignments if you want to get a good grade (80+).

Comment:

She is an amazing professor. She actually pulled me aside one day because she could tell I was struggling with assignments. She is always available to help. Her test are tough but fair. Attend lectures, do the assignments and you will learn a lot from Dr. Liu.

Found her to be dismissive. She talked down to many of her students, and seemed to be in a bad mood if you actually showed up to her office hours. Also, she expects you to remember everything, her favourite line to use is "you should know this." Also never believe her class average, she drops the students with low grades and take the median grades.

The absolute worst professor I've ever encountered at Lakehead. Extremely unclear in Lectures, and when I asked for help she told me it "wasn't her job to help me" and sent me on my way.

She is the best Lakehead has in the Engineering Faculty. I had her for my degree project and she was awesome.I've also had her for many classes. She clearly explains all material and is attentive to how the class is understanding the subject. She also is just a great person to talk to and can be hilarious at times. Best mentor that I had.

She F'n rocks!!!!!! The best prof at Lakehead by FAR. Doesn't make you feel stupid when you ask her a question and she'll make time so that she can help you out. One of the very few profs at LU that care.
