Most of what he talks about in class has nothing to do with what you get tested on. Learn the textbook and understand how they do the solutions, you do not need to go to a single lecture if you learn it all on your own. He also cannot clearly explain himself.

Horrible prof, rants about things not applicable to the class (ex god). Forgets what he taught the lecture before and begins lectures either missing slides or going over previous lecture notes. Takes attendance and threatens to fail students for not coming to class. He does know a lot of hydrology but does not know how to teach.

hilarious guy. spent 3 months covering simple rational method and then crammed the complicated routing analyses into the last few weeks. not sure if he was trying to make it tough or if he himself didn't understand the more complicated items enough to address student questions. guess what-the exam was 90% focused on the complicated routing methods

He's like Willy Wonka of the water world. He is so confusing he confuses himself. Not professional at all, he trashes other students on a regular basis. I was definitely entertained because I love seeing the crazies in their element but became frustrating when I actually needed guidance. He needs to end his career, he's done.

Great Prof. I got great grades in his classes but I worked my ass off. He'll meet you halfway if you put in the effort. He has no time for those who don't care (a majority of the posters here). Engineering means working your ass off. Don't blame him if he makes you work. I bet the majority of the posters here were also in D trouble as well.

Coming from an outside university to attend Dr. Panu's courses showed me what a true professor does to take his students to the next level. His courses are challenging and when you're out there you'll be one of the best if you can make it through

Dr. Panu, is the most useless, unprofessional professor i have ever had. He is the only prof that provides HAND WRITTEN NOTES WHICH LOOK LIKE CHICKEN SCRATCH FOR U TO FOLLOW ALONG Whatever he goes through in class will not help u to get during your midterm or exam. His test can take 10 hours to write and laughs when u hand in your incomplete test.
