he's tough! never skipped a single class, would spend every minute of class discussing the readings. some readings were 6 pages, others were BOOKS... expected students to read each section within a day. ridiculous... boring... try to take a different teacher. take LOTS of notes, show up every day, tests had irrelevant questions.

If you enjoy reading and writing. He is awesome. I helped review papers for his Freshmen class and he took us (me + another student) out to lunch. Very cool! Oh. and if you ask what University he got his bright clown robes from... it's "Haaarvaaard."

Great teacher who is willing to lighten up with his students and who made the class interesting and fun. One improvement: to provide more guidlines for paper topics, grading scale. I especially enjoyed class discussions after each film and his effort to include everyone who wanted to share.

Very interesting. Encourages discussion. A funny guy, with an odd sense of humor that often leaves him the only one laughing. Still a crack-up, though. :p He's helpful and clear. He's not a hard teacher. You can revise papers if you don't like your score.
