She lectures for about an hour and they are very helpful in answering lab report questions and most labs take the full 3 hours. Shes also very funny and kind and knowledgeable about biology I loved Ropski!

I had Mrs. Ropski for MCB lab. Overall she was an amazing prof that really knew her stuff. Beware of pop quizzes and she is very lecture heavy (about an hour and a half). The labs are time consuming and sometimes difficult, but I have felt prepared for the practicals and quizzes. You have to devote time and effort to get an A.

I had Mrs. Ropski for AFF and MCB Lab as a freshman PA student. Her expectations seem insane at first, but as long as you memorize what she clearly states you need to know, it's pretty easy to get A+'s in both courses. Older students and Mrs. Ropski are your allies! Lectures are insanely long so don't eat to many carbs before:)

Mrs. R is a great professor. Take her. Was intimidated by her initially. Throughout the semester, she warmed up to us. She sings and mumbles to herself. Lectures are detailed and she is available outside her office. She honestly cares about her students. Respectful. Love her.

(Biology First-Year Seminar) The class itself is terrible, especially at 8 AM, but she does her best to make it enjoyable. The journal entries aren't too hard, and as long as you do the homework and participate in the in-class discussions, you'll pass.

(MCB Lab) The pre-lab lectures can seem long (especially for an 8 AM lab), but they're very clear, so if you take good notes and draw decent pictures of your microscope field of view, the practicals aren't bad. The lab reports aren't terrible, either.

Mrs. Ropski is a great teacher. Go to open labs and don't wait until the last minute to do the lab reports. Follow the lab report guidelines and you'll do fine on them. You need to study for the lab practicals. She is extremely clear on what she wants you to know. I would definitely take another class with her.

I felt defeated about 2 weeks into lab classes. Ms. Ropski was there for me and explained things after the next class. I also met with her when I needed to. She's extremely nice and helpful. The open labs before exams really helped me a lot too. I would definitely take a class with her again.

She made my Biology lab so enjoyable! Take good notes and you'll pass. She is very easy to work with and will help you when you need it. If I had lab with anyone else it wouldn't have been as easy for me to understand the information or pass the tests. She is an amazing teacher.

I have had her for both MCB and AFF lab. She is very entertaining and is willing to answer any questions that you have. Practicals are a lot of information, but all the information is given to you in lectures and in the lab manual. I would definitely recommend her.

She is honestly the best Professor I've had at Gannon. She is wicked nice and is clear as day as to what she expects from you. I previously got a D in the same class from a different professor; took her in the summer and walked with a B+ Take her class and you will be fine

Ropski is a very nice and caring person. She has a good atmosphere about her. I took her for MCB and AFF Labs! The practicals are pretty hard. If you study for it all the time then it comes fairly easy. The lab reports for AFF are annoying but thats life! She is Awesome Prof!

Great Prof. Really hard tests but she's a good teacher. If you study hard you'll get a decent grade. I thought it was cool, if a little eccentric that she brought her kids placenta to class!
