Comment:
Professor Cuddy-Keane's class was challenging, but also extremely rewarding. While a narratological approach obviously does not appeal to al students, she somehow manages to make even highly interdisciplinary and scientific work as that seem interesting, important, and compelling. A class which has made me a better student, a writer, and human! :)

One of the very best professors I have had the opportunity to work with. Her assignments actually push you to be a better writer as opposed to simply gauging your current level. Take a course with her- it's an awesome experience.

Wonderful professor. Lectures are thought provoking -- a pleasure to go to. You learn a lot, grow as a student, thinker and as a human being. Great person and scholar who who maintains integrity and high standards of the English Dep't. Great selection of works and T.A.s. Challenging course but not impossible! The BEST!

Her course was the toughest course I have ever taken at UofT.I liked her lectures, but didn't like the tutorials. She also said that she wanted to prove to the UofT community that English courses are hard.Other students found the course VERY challenging. There were 74ppl in the course, but it dropped to 59ppl at the end of the year.

I liked her approach to literature. I liked her approach to criticism. I liked her approach to Woolf. I liked her approach to pedagogy. I liked her. Tough marker and can run a bit of an intellectual sweatshop but the outcome outweighs the effort.
