He was a great professor, unfortunately, he decided to be an academic fraud and lost tenure. I'm not sure he's even still teaching at Emory, but his classes were always interesting, but I'm not sure I trust anything I learned from him.

Most honest and conscientious teacher I ever had. An advocate for the students, always on their side in any battle. Bellesiles was the best, but the right wing drove him out. Our loss.
