Go ahead and take him, you probably won't regret it. Homework is 25% of your grade, and you basically just have to hand it in to get an A. Class is mandatory, just go and play games on your laptop. Cram before the tests, they aren't that bad, and he curves a good amount. You should be able to pull off a B, and if you put forth moderate effort, an A

Very nice and wacky guy. 10 homework assignments and 10 in-class quizes, all of which can be done in groups. five 50pts tests, pretty hard, but curved 5pts normally. You can do well on test if you study and prepare for them. Make sure to read your book, test questions come from the company who makes the book.

Prof Carrier is a cool guy. very nice, funny, fair. Curves tests, and sticks to course outline. My advice would be to read the chapter, and make outlines. Tests are tough, but manageable. see him at office hous to get tips for tests. def take this class with him.

Easiest class I've ever had. 4 tests, no final, very little hw. Tests, quizzes, and hw were all extremely easy,you just need to study a little and you'll get an A. All tests are curved.Very laid back guy and extremely funny,best professor at JMU by far! Definitely a good GPA booster.

The easiest, dumbest class I've ever taken. He doesn't know what he's talking about at all, so you can convince him of any answer on your tests if he marks it wrong. This guy is literally the most laid back teacher you will ever find. And you hardly have to do any work...at all.

He is really nice and very helpful. If you study moderately for the tests then you will do fine. He gives extra credit on the tests and likes to curve. I don't remember the last time we DIDNT get out early. He is incredible!

First of all, He's the nicest guy ever and this is the easiest class you will ever take.Quizzes each thurs but they're open note/book. 4 tests,they're easy b/c he tells you exactly what will be on it. Take his 3:30-4:45 section!by the end of the day he wants to go home and lets us out AT LEAST 30-45 min early EVERY class period. you WILL get an A:)

Really funny guy. Attendance isn't technically mandatory, but you have either homework due or a quiz to take most days, so you'll go anyway. quizzes were real easy, tests were easy, final was optional. oh and the big project is an instant 100 as long as you do it, literally.

Very easy teacher. After the second test he wanted to turn the class into a stats course even though he really didn't know what he's doing though. That didn't really effect anyone's grade though and I think a huge majority of the class still got an A overall. Overall though his tests, quizzes and HWs were easy and I highly recommend taking him.

Carrier is a funny, caring, and extremely helpful professor. The subject matter is (in my opinion) very easy, and most of the material was taught from the slides. The book was only needed for the homework (5 pts each). Attendance wasn't mandatory, but there were are weekly quizzes (3 points each). I HIGHLY recommend this professor.

Make your schedule around his class. If you don't take Carrier, you are an idiot. I loved his class. I was worried about it being a business class because that's not really my thing but he was amazing. Tests are simple, there's lots of super easy homework that really helps your grade, not that you'll need the help, and he does everything to help.

SOO EASY!! we watch music videos at the beginning of class, he tells you all of the answers before the test. final was optional. had a bunch a stupid homeworks at the beginning but they take like 10 minutes and he doesnt even look at it just puts a big check on it. everyone got 100 on the project. take him. easy A!
