Teaches without slides/no blackboard. If you suck at taking notes, this guy is all over the place and taking notes is impossible therefore making tests ridiculous because he tests you on ONE random word/FACT that he said. His classes are entertaining to attend. It is very discussion based and involved. There isn't a lot of work, but the assignments that are assigned are in depth. Exams are simple and straight forward. If you enjoy history- or even just discussion on real world topics- this is the class to take.

I thought he was going to suck 1st class. He went off on negative tangents about our generation. But over time, he will become one of the most influential professors you will have. He is passionate about history and relates the information he talks about to everyday life, not like it's some story from a textbook. He is quite a character.

i think that some people would consider him offensive, but i think there's something to be learned in the way he breaks it down - he's revealing what people will think and do in the real world regardless of whether or not they say it out loud to you!!! take some life lessons.
