Clear instructor. Insists on MyEconlab, but uses it as a homework tool and not a testing tool. Willing accommodate technical difficulties. Come to class, do the MyEconlab assignments and the multiple choice midterms and final are easy.

Professor Charette is one of the best professors I had in my first semester and I chose him again for my second. He makes economics a fun, approachable subject. He explains everything perfectly, he will always be fair and you will have all the practice questions necessary to do good. Very knowledgeable but a simple, nice person. Go for him!

He was nice, just couldn't hold my attention very well during class. He spoke quietly and read the PowerPoint directly to us, however he was good at giving examples. He didn't seem too approachable for help.

This is a tough course but he gives out practice problems for each chapter that actually appear on the final exam. So if you work hard and do myecon lab its an easy grade. Nothing bad to say about this guy he is great and will do anything to help a student out. I lost my password for myeconlab and he actually called the company for me. take him

Easy class, lots of midterm and final questions straight from the prep, but boring as possible, and he teaches economics at a highschool level, not a university level (people should be expected to know a little math).

I really can't say which is harder...staying awake during his class or his midterm/exams? Hmm...difficult question...but one thing's for sure, if you ask questions and know exactly what he has in his slides, you'll do fine. Midterm average was under 50%, so STUDY and try to get everything. This man knows his stuff, and is always helpful, so ask!

Charette is a straight shooter. He doesn't trick students on exams or keep you guessing. He tests you on the materials and how well you know them straight up. He's also VERY STUDENT FRIENDLY: provides his students with every and all possible resources in order for you to succeed. H

Though I wish we would progress through the material much faster, he was nonetheless a very clear speaker and appears very much dedicated. Extremely helpful and always eager to answer students' questions. Tests are fairly easy but you still have to know your stuff.

Great teacher, eager to help, very friendly. My only advice is to attend class. He puts his lectures up on the web, but you will get an A if you attend every class.
