Would avoid him if there's other options. He has a very thick accent and his notes are extremely unorganized. I had to teach myself everything from the textbook because his lectures and notes were a waste of time. He consistently got mad at the class for having a lower midterm average than the other classes... it's not us, its you, Dr. Eze.

Dr. Eze was fantastic. Took 3502 on Letter of Permission and here are my thoughts: 1) Strong accent, but he knows his stuff so get over it. 2) Lectures on necessary concepts and expects you to seek further understanding via corresponding chapters in the textbook (As a great profs do!) 3) Goes above and beyond to ensure the success of students

After reading reviews on here i was very hesitant to take chem with him. I do not regret my choice! very helpful in explaining and he takes his time to make sure all students understand. In all honestly i think students walked into that classroom prepared to dislike him, it was really upsetting to see that he did not get the respect he deserved.

Granted eze gives out fairly decent exams, it doesn't make up for his lack of teaching skills. I found myself having to teach myself more than anything. He's incredibly difficult to understand and half the time he doesn't know what he's talking about. It makes class really difficult. I don't recommend him unless you can pick up things easily.

Professor Eze was great. Don't listen to what anyone tells you about him as a Professor, it takes a little time to get used to his teaching style but he's extremely kind, he follows the textbook and he really cares about his students. Most importantly he's fair!!

Dr. Eze is by far one of the nicest professors in University of Winnipeg. He is not bad at teaching, but honestly if you don't understand the material, just ask him. He is very approachable and will help you out with anything. Biochem is very hard material, and the textbook is essential in passing the course. Good luck.

This man should not teach laboratories. Speaks too quietly, heavy accent, contradicts himself, unwilling to help when complications arise, horribly inefficient (took 1 hour to prepare 3 honey samples, demonstrates on individual basis instead of to entire class), and SPILLS LAB WORK and doesn't offer subsequent help. Be warned; I wish I had been.

Not a very good teacher, teaches straight out of the textbook and very hard to understand him due to his accent. He doesn't know what he's doing half the time and will not help you with assignments.

Dont take him for first year chemistry. Very heavy accent. He is literally ALL over the place with his notes. Will literally just write and write on the whiteboard without explaining himself. His examples are directly out of the textbook so i stopped going to class and and now study in the library during his period and get 2x the work done.

Very hard to understand sometimes due to his accent. He tries as best he can to help students both inside and outside class to make up for anything he might lack in the classroom, but at the same time I didn't have time to talk to him after every class. Gave out the first midterm test that might as well have been a final. No time to finish it.

Really a nice man and you can tell he is trying hard but his powerpoints were all over the place and I didn't feel like I learned much by going to class. Thankfully I was able to study off professor Wood's powerpoints and the textbook to get by.

Dr. Eze is the most approachable professor I have ever had and truly cares whether or not his students understand the material. Don't listen to what anyone says about him as a professor. What he lacks in immediate clarity he makes up for in his fairness on tests and his kind, approachable nature!!!!! Awesome Professor and man!

Very smart man, probably does excellent research, SUCKS at teaching (but he's trying). WebCT notes are a mess, he's constantly replacing them. SO disorganized (so you had BETTER be organized). Answers questions in roundabout fashion. Unclear about expectations for exams, had more than a few questions go "under review".

His teaching sucks and try to avoid him. Take biochemistry courses with Dr. Craig or Dr. Vanderwel. Dr. Eze has no clue how to teach in the classroom and lab.

I had him for my biohem class and lab and let me tell you he is rough... He is very hard to follow and understand due to his thick accent and a terrible lab demo... His tests are fair for the material of the class but if your going try to get Craig as your prof, just for the clarity.

bad!!! you can't understand him because a) he has a really thick accent and B) he mumbles. He has no idea what he is talking about and will often give you the wrong information. I don't understand how he could have ever gotten a phd
