Great Professor! He is truly passionate about the subject and very helpful if you show interest. There is a decent amount of work but if you do all of the online tests you'll be fine bc that is exactly what the test is. He urges students to submit essays early so he can revise them for you. Don't take if you are bad at distance learning.

Do not take this man's class unless you are certain you will be okay with distance learning! If you had class with him twice a week, he would have been great but the five class sessions are impossible. I'm an A student, got a C and my friend a B student, got a D and this is our major! He loves this subject too much to squash it into five sessions.

A gentleman and a scholar. Wonderful educator. Professor Gerien infuses the subject he teaches with an obvious passion; something that you don't see often in a Professor who has been doing this for as long as he has. E-mails and telephone calls are returned immediately. Extremely fair and compassionate.Clear and concise teaching style. A+!

he bashed my student film, but now i am famous, winning student film festivals across the globe. He said my film lacked hip-ness and groovy factors. I showed him now, now i do films with such critically acclaimed actors as Benecio del Toro.
