This is by far the best professor I ever had at Central Michigan! He was very willing to offer extra help if needed and work with about any situation that may arise, for example I was in a head-on car collision, and mised almost 4 weeks of class,He was willing to give me an Incomplete and finish the final paper for my grade! Very intelligent.

i had this prof as a freshman. we argued in his office at least 3 times, & i got a D because my opinions differed from his. i went to the writing center & was told my paper was fine. i saw him 3 yrs after having taken the class, & he told me he admired my will, and told me my writing was good. in short, we both learned a lot in hindsight.

Hands down one of the most intelligent professors I have ever had. Mr. Gow not only teaches one how to become a more complete writer, but also teaches one the lessons of life. I loved hearing his stories about everything. I never worked so hard on a paper as I did in his class. One of the few classes that has had an impact on my life.

Oh the Gow man, how we will miss you. Gow was one of the most amazing human beings I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He truly enriches the lives of any student he meets, I had him a year ago and I am still remebering his stories and everything he has taught me. I will always remember Mr. Gow.

Very self indulgent, but interesting for a CMU prof. Although, I have had many profs that have been much more interesting. His assignments are vague, and I felt like he made us have to make up stories to meet his assignments even though they were supposed to be real. Somewhat elitist.

Gow is 1 of the coolest profs on campus. Hee is also probably 1 of the hardest graders on campus. He wants u 2 give more, more detail and when u think u've done it, u get a paper back (that took 5+ weeks to grade) that tells u to give more detail. Take him if u are a good writer, otherwise don't.
