Dr. Kerley has been an amazing mentor, professor, and guide for my time in his class as well as my post-college life. I have no words to describe how amazing of a professor and human being Dr. Kerley is nor could I possibly articulate how grateful I am for him. This man is one of the best professors I've had at NJIT, hands-down. You can tell that the only reason he's there is for the students. He wants you to get a good grade and the only way you'll end up with a bad one is if you don't try at all. I wish there were more professors like him.

had kerley for phil 334 over the summer. the workload is minimal, and he is a very fair grader. with regards to his papers, he cares WAY more about your grammar than your content. most importantly he will never bore you

Probably the most biased professor at NJIT. If he doesn't like you then you'll probably end up with a bad grade and nothing can change that. He will come up will a million answers as to why you don't deserve better grade. Also, his attendance policy is absurd - he will never emphasize the importance of attendance but will penalize you for absences.

Awesome professor. Loved him. He's really helpful and funny and he loves talking about NORTH CAROLINA. He's very very helpful and I learned so much in his class. He was my first ENGLISH prof at NJIT and if I weren't an archy I would take every English class with him. Just write the 3-4 papers (easy) and proofread them and you'll be fine.

This dude is AWESOME!!! He is smart, totally cool, and extremely funny. He's from Georgia so he has a nice accent and very friendly. Easy class, easy grader, and all-around great teacher. Definitely take him. He ROCKS!!! I love this dude, you will too.

Prof. Kerley was my first Eng. Prof at NJIT and he makes me want to take more classes with him. He is interesting and funny. He's from NC so he sometimes makes some quips about his teams. He's a light hearted Prof and the only way you will fail is if you don't try in his class. You just need to proofread your essays. Easy B or B-

Awesome.... One of the best professors at NJIT. Take him if you can, you'll enjoy the class. He is not that picky at writing; my writing is not good at all, and I still got an A. You just have to proof read your papers (only 3 assignments in our class) before hand it in and you'll be OK.

Very Good, helpful, clear teacher. very good and iteresting class. be aware though that he grade up on your writingin english. he doesn't care about anything else beside your enlish writing. if you don't know how to write in english, avoid his class. he not available outside the classroom
