Latzer is the sweetest man alive. He is so reasonable, and his quirky enthusiasm makes the deep content easy to listen to. He prepares you for the tests very well and never tries to trick you. He is like a corny dad in the best way possible.

I love this teacher! He is an awesome man and is hilarious. His class is pretty easy and informative. He has books online (FREE) that we are supposed to read and I would recommend reading them to pass. Super easy class.

I had Dr. Latzer for Intro to Philosophy and received an A. He is without a doubt the nicest professor on campus. He was so understanding throughout the course and tries to make it as interesting as possible. He's not out to trick you like other teachers. He also has a wonderful sense of humor. Definitely take him if possible! Good luck!

Latzer is awesome. He is hilarious and a former Canadian. Take him for any philosophy course you have to take, even if it's at 8AM - he still makes it fun. He'll always stop to explain things to you and is so helpful - he knows his stuff and really wants to see his students succeed. Probably the best professor at Gannon.

He tries to make the class more interesting with humor and modern day themes and snippits (Matrix and such). He does make the class more interesting, but it is relatively easy as is. He outlines all tests, so study the handout he gives. There are three debates (must be in one), and you have worksheets and tests. Easy class. Nice teacher.
