Attend class & take notes. Take book Notes. Do homework early on. Ask Q's. Participate. Don't miss class. Also, try to have a math class (pref. ALGEBRA 1) to better understand the taxes and percent growth and etc. Math is crucial in econ. STUDY GROUPS WILL HELP. WE ALL SUFFER. He's an inspiring person. Wish I actually tried harder in the class.

Whenever i was confused by something he was available to answer a question after class. He lectured fairly straight from the textbook but it was usually explained in different ways and more in depth when needed.

Took this class online, weekly homework was helpful, and only three tests. However, the six essays we had to write during the semester were very open-ended but he seemed to be looking for a specific answer. Gave good feedback. Since it is an online class you must teach yourself. Do the homework and study for the test and you'll do okay.

McIlhon is nothing special, but not terrible. Basically, his class is him lecturing from the book, weekly homework, and 4 exams. Cengage is necessary, physical copy only if you like to physically read the material. All the work you do is online, and it's pretty easy besides the time constraint on the exams. Just show up and study.

You don't need to ever attend lectures to pass this class. Just do the online homework (1 assignment per week) and take the tests (4 per semester). His lectures are dry and will make you want to fall asleep. He spends an hour over analyzing something the textbook explains in three sentences. The tests rarely reflect material from the lectures.

Tests and homework assignments are online. His lectures are confusing, he doesn't count attendance and I went to only about 3 lectures the entire semester and I got a B. Read the textbook and try to learn from the homework and you'll be fine

Not a big fan of his class. All his homework is online and so are his tests. There isn't much of a reason to take this class since you can just do it all at home, so take a completely online class. His lectures are usually very boring and not useful. So overall either get another professor or take the online version of his classes because he's bad.

I studied for HOURS every DAY and STILL got a C. When reaching out to him for help he was extremely rude. I have never gotten below an A before. Horrible guy. Just take the class online. Not worth it.

This class originally had 50 people in it. By the last day only 18 even bothered to show up because his class was a waste of time. He Lectured too much, and didn't make sense. He actually sent me an extremely rude email where he implied that I was mentally disabled. I took all honors, AP and CIS, and always have had A's. this was my first C ever.

He is a very nice and funny guy but not the best class I have taken. He lectures for the whole time with little to no notes on the board. Passing the class is difficult unless you have a ton of time outside the classroom to do work. Also dont make eye contact with him unless you want to be randomly called on in class.

He lectures the entire time & they're hard to follow & boring. Take math class before macro, there is a lot of graphing & math to do on the homework & he doesn't go over that much in class. Homework is online on mindtap w/ online textbook option. Need to buy book for online HW but not in class. Better off with online only class w/ this teacher.

I really liked him as a teacher. He's clear and very knowledgable. All of the tests and homework are online. You don't have to buy the textbook as the book is on the website with the tests - so you can just buy the Aplia disc. Also: If you seem extraverted on the first day of class, be prepared to be called on a lot!

One of the toughest classes I have taken at Century. He expects most of the classwork to be done on your own time. He takes the entire class period to go into detail about a small portion of the test material. Passing is not difficult-just be prepared to spend a lot of time outside of class to do his homework (and tests) online.

Basically only lectures the whole time, barely anything makes sense. The online exams are long & the material in it is basically nothing we learned about. The online homework is super long & hard. Sure, he's a nice guy. But don't make eye contact with him otherwise he will forever call on you in class plus like 4 other kids otherwise nobody else.

Doesn't convey information clearly during lectures, and picks on about 3 people expecting constant participation while the remainder of the class didn't say a word the whole semester. I did get an A but I had to work for it. His tests (especially the final) had little to do with what was covered in lecture.

If you're having problems, it's because you're not studying! This is a pretty dense subject, and this guy expects you to actually understand the material; Your grade will reflect that. I got a good grade and learned more in this class than any other. If this isn't in your wheel-house, take Mr. Lee. He'll practically give you an A for showing up.

Traditional lecture and white board type of class. Had to drag myself to go there twice a week (boring). Professor knows his stuff, but doesn't put it in an easy, "most-can-understand" way. Homework due online each week and four 60-min, 50-question timed tests throughout the semester. Will retake with a diff prof. One more semester left @ Century.

Easily one of the worst teachers I have ever had. Every week was torture trying to get through his online assignments. The lectures were hard to follow and really didn't help me with the online assignments or the tests. I really despised this class and this teacher. Really considering dropping it.
