tests are curved an insane amount.. out of 16 usually curved to 10-12.. he is alright but if u want to pass READ THE BOOK and do ALL the homework. Self discipline is key for success. his tests are simply problems from examples or hw. I received almost 100% in the class.. cuz of the curve. but it could've easily been a C.. not the best but doable.

He worries to much about people chating and doesn't like his job. He also spent more time with the clickers and smart board than he did teaching. The worse teacher I have had while I've been in college. I hope never to see him again!!!! PS Keep it down class lol

Not that hard of a class, very much like classical mechanics physics. He is very fair. He is also very strict. 2 tests and a final. Attendance is mandatory because he does the daily quizzes thru the clicker, which everybody hates. Go to class and do the HW. Shouldn't be too bad.

I was scared to take this class/professor because of all the other ratings and stories I've heard. Very misleading. If you're good with physics (mechanics), you'll do good.Exams are way easier than homeworks. Extremely helpful, especially one on one.Yes he does yell and can be strict, when he needs to be. Need more professors to be strict like him

Reasonable professor. Follows the book closely. Sometimes starts screaming as he lectures, which is probably good as far as keeping the attention of the class. The material is difficult, but you must work hard.

Pierucci is very strict, but he teaches the material well. He does many examples in class and does class participation via the cps clickers. Grading is somewhat fair but his grading policy is strict so arguing a test problem is a lost cause. Do the homework, show up to class, and you'll get a decent grade.

If you understand the basics of physics before entering the class, then it wont be too bad. But as far as learning his material from scratch, I would recomend taking another teacher! He gives a large amount of homework, and doesnt offer a lot of help. I had e-mailed him a few times about the homework and got back smart-a** remarks.

Pierucci is probably the worst Aero teacher at State. He makes you explain every detail of your work, then pounds you for not giving him enough. As if a 12 hour final exam isn't enough? Give me a break. Take Klein! Stay away from Pierucci...

I took his class awhile ago, however it stands out in my mind because he sucks. All he does in class is go over examples from the book, and give mini-quizzes with a clicker that is entirely a waste of money because you will never use it again. To top it off, he is intimidating. Take the class with Kline... or anyone else for that matter....

Terrible teacher, the only reason i passed is cause i learned most of the topics covered in physics. Total A-whole, avoid at all costs. Arrogant, loud, unhelpful, unforgiving. Hands down worst teacher i've ever had. Miserable experience altogethor. Take a Junior college!!!!!!!! i took this class 3 years ago and i'm still pissed.

Avoid him at all costs. He does enjoy failing people. He is old, yells, and makes you feel like an idiot when you ask a question. At one point he said "Don't expect what is on the test to be true". I think professor Kline is teaching it next spring 2005 so take him. TAKE HIM.

Was an average teacher in 220, but if you can survive until 410 he gets a lot better. Also, don't sit in the front row, because he gets louder as the class goes on and at the end you'll be deaf.
