One of the only professors I've ever really enjoyed and respected. People say he's boring but I love anthropology and think he does a superb job teaching it!!

I'm surprised I passed. You get 3 tests , one presentation and research paper. No homework. But the test are pretty hard. He goes off on tangents so its kind of hard to gather information for the study guide. If he mentions tribe names and locations just write them down and google them later. Good Luck.

This class was really interesting but it is a bit challenging because you have very limited assignments in this class. Pass every test and make sure your essay is at least 3 pages with examples from the books. There isn't really a clear system on how this class works but if your lost just meet with the Professor, he is really helpful.

Dr. Rosenberg knows a lot. But everything in the lecture isn't on the exams.

Prof Rosenberg is very smart and knows a lot about his field. However, it was a very difficult class. He doesn't use any notes, or powerpoints, or text book. His lectures are long and kinda hard to follow at points. There are three tests and two papers so to get a good grade you have to go to class, take good notes, and study them well.

Fantastic guy. Really knows his stuff about archaeology and paleontology. Covers a lot of content in a short amount of time. No homework or quizzes or papers, just 3 exams, which are pretty tough, but if you just pay attention in class you'll get a C at the lowest.

His exams come straight from his lectures. The book is a waste of money, it will not help at all. Attendance is not mandatory, however if you want to pass his class it is. Everything he says is put on that exam. He's a great professor though, just make sure you show up.

He is a great teacher. What ever comes on exams is from his lectures. Attend every class if you wanna get an A in his class. There are 3 exams and 3 essays for this course. First 2 essays you have to write using two different books and for the last essay, you have to watch two movies and read a book. It all sounds hard but in actual it's not.

My inspiration to become an Anthropology major, literally the best. You can tell he knows what he's talking about, but gets carried away sometimes and goes off on tangents quite frequently. Besides that, the tests are fairly straight forward; pay attention and take notes, and you'll get an A on the exams, because they're easy questions.

I've taken two classes with him. He's a great professor. He's very friendly and always willing to answer questions and clarify things. His exams are based on lectures, so as long as you took good notes, you're fine. He loves to go off on tangents, but he is fair and only tests on things that he taught. Gives extra credit if you participate a lot.

FAV Prof ever! I took everyone of his classes at associates in arts just because he was teaching it. Passionate about anthropology, treats students like individuals, interesting lectures, and doesn't give a ton of work. Fair grader, exams are fair, but still make sure you study, does get a little off track during lectures but its hilarious!

Great teacher! Class is really interesting. His lectures can be a little all over the place at times. But he mostly just sums up everything from the text, so you can just go back to the book. Exams were easy as long as you studied. He is really funny and made class a blast. i would reccommend his class!!!

He is horrible at lecturing. His thoughts jump all over the place and it's hard to keep up. If you're not a good test taker, don't take this class.

Have taken 4 classes with him. He is a great teacher, very intelligent and interesting, nice to talk to outside of class too. He likes tangents and is sometimes confusing to follow, but you will come away knowing more! Tests are a little hard, but you do better on them than you think, and he gives points for participation.

I had no idea what anthropology was when i took it. I thought it would be boring, but he made it interesting and fun. He really knows his stuff. And he's excited about it. Tests are all on notes from class. He makes u come to class b/c of that. But going to class is actually interesting. One of the best teachers i've had.
