Amazing professor, he makes you participate in class, but it is only beneficial to you. He's an absolute sweetheart and is always looking to help you and has a great sense of humor. Test aren't difficult, homework is easy, and class is fun! Definitely recommend taking this class with him!

Awesome professor. He is so funny and he teaches you the language in an interesting way. It's different than most teaching styles, but he forces you to use Italian. If you happen to be reading this comment PLEASE ASK HIM ABOUT BRANDON CARBAJAL!!! You'll get a great laugh as he tells you about me. :)

hysterical professor, easy tests. a little confusing as a teacher but overall great guy and teacher. gives makeup tests if you are unhappy with grades and is very helpful. definitely take him if you have the chance.

Class is fair. He gives a lot of HW but you can finish in like 15 min. He DEFINITELY will embarrass you at some point- if you pronounce something wrong, make a mistake, or don't understand him, he will make you continue until you get it right. He is a fun professor but he makes the class harder than it should be. He assigns too much hw as well, especially if you are not familiar with the language at all. HE usually lets the class go 10-15 minutes early which is nice.

Took him for Intermediate I and II...only have good things to say. Class was easy enough.. wants us to chat mostly in Italian, though. He himself is the nicest guy ever. We called him "Papa Samperi" because there were only five people in our class and he was like our grandfather. There was the family atmosphere and I really learned alot! Take him!
