Worst teacher in the program. Never gives feedback or grades, EVER! Alot of the grades are based on attendance and how much he likes you. Until this professor is replaced I recommend people go elsewhere for this program, he doesn't teach you the necessary things and doesn't prepare you for the real world. He's BY FAR the worst Prof I've ever had!

Dr. Toll isn't good professor. Never covers the related material in the class. Always where light and white shirt. Have no knowledge about Digital Baseband Transmission. Only nipple modulation. One of the useless instructor of Electronics Engineering and the Computer Engineering.

Dr. Toll is a gate keeper to your future. Want to do well? Get on his good side, be polite, even when letting him know you'd like to get your grades or some feedback. Prepare for labs before you arrive, often building circuits will take 2 hours, perhaps more if you have to troubleshoot. If you are rude to him, he is very rude to you.

Hard tests, covering material not covered in class. Not helpful, often doesn't know how to fix things in his own labs. Very little feedback. It is now the end of the semester and despite the class' best efforts to communicate the need for feedback, there was no improvement. Unprepared for labs and classes.

Michael Toll is really annoying prof. Once asked about BW distance factor and Dispersion and he was not able to clarify. Always mark tests and assignments wrong and never return until whole class start asking about their tests and assignments.

Overly complicated, little practicality, no interest in student success. Labs don't relate to the class material. Tests have many trick questions or reference material that was not covered in class. AFAIK he didn't mark a single lab. No feedback. His attitude single handedly made me leave the program despite my great success in all classes.

Having had Dr.Toll for three classes, I have yet to experience the difficulties that many other students have mentioned. In my opinion, he has been nothing but fair and helpful. His lectures primarily focus on theory and mathematics, and some criticize this as being more appropriate for university than college. I say, get smarter!

This is a useless teacher, who always wants to be called dr. when he's is so, so, stupid. The students know more about electronics then he does. He tries to derive new equations, gets lost while doing so, and skips key parts, then expects you to know everything about it on a test. USELESS MAN.

Will teach in winter 2005. God alone knows what and how he will teach. Very imp course for students and he may not finish. what r the students going to do in industry if they donot finish the course content. God have mercy on us. He will never mark any labs and ask us to do everything by ourselves.

Waste of time in his class.He never thought the course before and comes to the labs and tries to figure out what the labs want u to do. In 16 weeks, did only 3 chapters and never marked any labs. We never covered imp topics like smith charts and the detalied topics of filters.
