Paul is a wonderful professor. I took Canada in the 1960's with him and personally found it really interesting. He's easy to listen to and every time I skipped class I regretted it upon returning as it IS an enjoyable course. Lots of reading, although all online and free which is nice! Uses youtube clips to keep it fun. If you need help, just ask!

I was worried after the first class, because going through the syllabus things seemed unorganized and not thought through. He was interesting enough to listen to, but needs to work on his slides better and elaborate on certain subjects more. Things were not as hard as I thought it would be, just do the readings and ATTEND CLASS. Nice dude though!

The course was very unorganized and all over the place. I still don't even really know what we learned over the entire semester. The lectures were boring, and the notes were all pictures so you had to listen to everything he says. I will say that most of his assignments and exams are all easy though. Just an unorganized teaching style.

I think paul has made histroy fun. he plays Bob Marley, and tries to understand how painful history can be. he is very nice, just don't be a jerk. he can tell if you are one! Thanx Paul, i love your class

A good prof. He's interesting, well-spoken and easy to listen to. He's clear and helpful. Best part about his class was that it was the easiest class I've ever taken in four years of university. He's the easiest marker and his assignments are very generous and very straight-forward. His class is the perfect class to take as an elective.

I don't know why everyone else seems to think he's boring... I found this class really interesting, and the fact that there was no final exam (just a midterm test) made it an even better class to be in!

A good prof, funny in a kind of lame way. Really warms up to the class latter in the term and makes it easy to get a good mark. At times he can drone on a bit but it IS Canadian History. If you have to take this course, take it with him.
