Everyone loved Michael in the program, but I always got the vibe he was condescending and full of himself. He would talk a lot about what he was working on during class time and was very harsh about being even a minute late to class. I picked up on him favouring female students. He is good at relaying information in a way that is easy to remember.

Michael is a gifted writer and filmmaker. He was instrumental in teaching me about writing. If you are fortunate enough to be in his class you will learn much about the craft of writing. He is also helpful in getting students real-world experience.

Michael will take the time to know you if you take the time to know him. He is exceedingly easy to get along with, it is common courtesy to listen in his class and believe me listening is the greatest skill you can have in FMTV. M.G. is a great teacher, take adv. of the time you have with him and you will be inspired hopefully :)

Michael is a really passionate about film and it shows in his teaching. I really enjoyed his class and learned a lot. Outside of class, he is a great guy to talk to and is extremely helpful. If he sees potential in you, he really pushes you to go far.

(the last review is pathetic and completely innacurate) Mike is a great guy, this was his first crack at this class, and I think he did really well. His expectations were extremely clear, and NOT difficult to adhere to, so long as you are willing to spend a little time watching movies each week.
