It's a hard class, but she's an awesome professor. Gives out practice exams before the real ones, and if you can do the homework well, you'll do well on the tests cause they're super similar. Works to accommodate student schedules as best she can.

Oh Mama Clauss...can't avoid her, but she is a really great professor. Mechanics is difficult, so make sure you use her office hours because she will do everything to help you. She understands the needs of her students and will adjust test dates to better fit everyone's schedule. Goes very fast in class, so pay attention and take notes!

The Good: A "standard" prof - follows the book during lecture and assigns related homework. Helpful and patient outside of lecture(don't waste her time during class!). Has a sense of humor but takes coaxing and time. The Bad: NOT a morning person! Overbearing. Tests require "an extra jump" beyond HW = HARD. I don't think she lets her kids outside.

Worste teacher ever!! This woman should lose her engineering license. She has absolutly no experience and it shows. If you want to learn, go to a different teacher. She is moody and obnoxious and her kids are alwas sick. The only reason she has a job is because she graduated with 3 other teachers here and they got her in.

She yells so loud in class that you can hear her everywhere in Hoyt and probably some places outside the building too. She isn't very clear in explaining stuff and she doesn't know computer programming very well. The book we used didn't help either. Although I'd rather take her than Dean.

Does not care if you understand anything. Do you understand? Goooood. And moves on. Office hours always have people lined up outside and if you're lucky enough to be one of the people she sees, you'll be waiting at least 30 minutes for the luxury. Going to class was not worth the time. Avoid.

i had previous programming, so this class was very simple to get through. Talks really fast and packs too much into a class so there is no time for questions. Grades really easy so if the work is done decent, it is A material. Just do the homework and you have an A.

Really knows her stuff, goes out of her way to help, wants students to succeed. I felt that not a second was wasted--I learned all I could possibly learn, in a way that I will remember it! My favorite professor.
