Comment:

Most inspirational professor Ive ever had. Made me feel like I genuinely mattered in her classes. She chose new and exciting books to read, not the same stuff that other profs teach over and over. Would absolutely take every one of her classes.

Comment:

Pretty funny teacher, her lectures can be interesting but she does tend to ramble sometimes. She did participation by having us write something about the lecture, so thats one reason to go to class but other wise its not a huge deal if you skip. Not necessary to get the textbook as you can get the works online. Pretty fair/easy marker.

Professor Kramer is an awesome professor who really enjoys teaching and providing her students with an interesting class. If you go to lecture and make notes you are setting yourself up to do really well in the course. She grades fairly for essays and provides you on feedback to improve and become a better student. She is also so funny.

Dr. Kramer is one of the best English profs. I've taken classes just because she's teaching them. Great lecturer and makes class interesting. Her tests are not hard if you've actually read the book, and you usually to get participation marks you can just write a comment at the end of class!

I had Dr. Kramer for two courses. She always started out very passionately, but then towards the end of the term her interest in the course material just seemed to die down. She is a kind woman, very understanding and caring. Her tests have always short answer on them and then an essay question. I could find the essay questions very vague.

I can't think of one negative thing to say about Dr. Kramer. I'm not an English major, but purposely took a second class of hers after I enjoyed the first one so much. She is one of the best profs I had in university. Smart, insightful, approachable, and very interesting material.

I had her for Canadian Literature and EN310. Great prof! If the class wasn't so early, I would have gone to every lecture. It is annoying that she is so easy on us, but she picks really interesting books and articles and her assignments and lectures are really interesting. She's not afraid to be inappropriate or pick really controversial novels.

Such a good prof! My favourite english one by FAR. Good sense of humour, listens to what you have to say, incredibly nice. Loved going to class. Best sure to do all the readings because those are the ONLY things she talks about.

Michele Kramer is a great lecturer who caters to the entitled kids who expect an A. Lots of people love her because she is easy and has low standards. To get a A in her class is no great feat. Most people get an B+ or A- who can't get these grades in any of their other classes. They love her because of this. And, she is a great lecturer!

Probs the best prof I've had at Laurier. Class structure included quizzes, an essay, & attendance (no final exam, which was nice). Dr. Kramer was friendly, funny, and approachable, and very passionate about what she taught. One time, her eyes watered when she read something inspiring aloud to the class. I never forgot that. Highly recommend her.
