I am glad to see that there are no recent reviews of this terrible professor. Hopefully this means that he is gone from BU. His class was a nightmare. He was a rude, uncaring, and pompous man who was genuinely unpleasant to be around. Sure, he knows his math, but he was an insult to BU and the students in his class. Good riddance

I took Calc. I with him in the summer term a few years ago. He is brilliant and knows how to teach the material in a understandable manner. I had to work hard for my grade, but thats nothing to complain about. Overall a good experience, and I was thouroughly prepared for subsequent courses because of him.

Terrible teacher, wears the same exact clothes everyday. Honestly is a ****, passing was a 40, I had a 39.9 and still wouldnt pass me even after the dean said it would be fine as long as the teacher agreed... he did not agree! He is a terrible teacher, the T.A. doesnt even like him, I think he may be damien, the son of satan.

Mihail Frumosu is a nice professor. He always knows what he's talking about, very competent in his subject of teaching. Most people are mad at him just because they don't know math at all and are completely not willing to study! If you're smart, you'll have no problems with him=) Good luck

This is clearly a class he's been made to teach and you've been made to take. It's not a pleasant experience, but suck it up and get through it. The tutoring room can be more helpful than the professor, who is by-and-large a jerk.

His attendance policy is absolutely ridiculous and he can be extremely mean to students for no reason at all. If you don't mind being kept for over the 50 minutes and being yelled at 3x a week, then he's worth it. He also lies about what will be on tests.

Avoid him like the plague. Gives out horrible grades to everyone. I heard he once failed 3/4 of his class. The head of my department tried to get him banned from teaching CS required courses to protect us... Im an A student and I ended up with a B- in his class... I was one of the highest in the class too.

Very hard teacher to some, but if you have done relatively well in Algebra when in high school u can get an easy A. As long as u do the Homework bc at least 2 questions on every exam are right off the homework problems, the other two are from stuff that he teaches in class. Easy tests for some.

Okay, I'll admit that this guy is not a good teacher, that he's hard to understand, and that he makes concepts much harder to understand than they actually are. However, this material is not difficult! I only went to class 2/3 of the time, never went to discussion, and I still did well. Just know the material beforehand...it's only precalc!
