Best prof at BG! He's super funny and grades super easy. If you have a choice TAKE GSW WITH MIKE. Easiest GSW class ever. I got an easy 100. He cancels a lot of classes for conferences and stops taking attendance like half way through the semester. Doesnt make you buy any textbook but the handbook you already have. Take any GSW with Mike for sure!

Easiest class ever with Mike. He's great, people who say otherwise must just be terrible at writing papers. All you do is write 4 papers, he helps with absolutely anything. TAKE THIS CLASS WITH MIKE, you won't regret it.

I had Mike for 1110 and took him again for 1120 b/c I liked him so much. All you need is the handbook, he doesn't require any other book. This saves a lot of $. All you do is write 4 to 5 short papers for the semester. Super easy! He tells you exactly what you need to pass.

I took Mike for both GSW 1110 and 1120. He makes sure to clarify what he wants us to write a paper on, and he will show you what to improve on between your first and final draft of a paper. He's not a "by-the-book" kind of teacher which is AWESOME, and class time is quiet and relaxing. Mike rocks, I highly recommend him for GSW!

I do not like his class. I am a good writer, but I have struggled with a few papers. He says that he will help, but he has yet to actually help me. On one paper he just told me what was wrong and to go fix it. I would not recommend if you think there are times you might struggle.

Funny guy. You can tell he writes fiction and creative stuff because he says the most random, hilarious crap, made up off-the-cuff. I'm sorta confused how he made me a better writer because he barely teaches, but he did teach me, somehow. Easy, very available. Class will rarely last the full alotted time.

I had him for 1110 and loved his class so much that I made sure to have him for 1120. He gives you a lot of freedom in class and with your writing. Class is fun to go to because he's seriously hilarious, and he'll frequently let you out early. Definitely my favorite class freshman year.

if you are not an American student don?t take the class with him. Whatever I do I got the worse grade ever in his calss. He never discusses or writes a feedback on my paper. The only feedback I got was in the final draft. You will put effort in this class as you dream to go to the heaven. Never take class with him

Mike is a good teacher, but when it comes to grading he's tough. Don't write the word "very" in your papers, he will get mad. He also hates emailing and if you miss a meeting with him he won't go out of his way to help you out. Other than that, you just sit in class and do absolutely nothing but go online. Rarely you will get out of class early.

mike is the easiest teacher i have ever had. As long as you do the work and go to the conferences, you will get an A. I am a terrible writer and so far out of the 3 essays we have completed...I have gotten a 100% on each one. He fixes your mistakes for you. So incredibly easy. Highly recommended

I LOVE Mike!! He is the best teacher at BG! His class is so easy because he's willing to help you so much with the writing process. He'll meet with you as many times as you need before a paper is due. He's also hilarious and will have you laughing the whole time. Expect to stay in class 30 minutes tops and then leave.

Great teacher. Funny during class, not much to do in class but discuss films and what our papers are based on. Conferences available and he tells you exactly what to do.
