only took this to finish up my language req't but he certainly kept the class as interesting as any language class will get. excellent at getting his points across while still being able to inject a nice note of humour in. love his style and his lax air about him

I've had Mosca for several courses. The one he is best at teaching is Hebrew 405. He's clear and goes slowly. After so many years of teaching this course it's no surprise that he's brillant at doing so. His non-language courses are not as clear. Chili pepper from me!

Creation and Covenant is a really difficult course to grasp. Take it only if you are really interested in ancient Israel and if you have a solid background in Judaism and the Pentateuch. He's really helpful with regards to your paper, but can be somewhat unclear in his lectures. Just pay attention.

Perfect prof to follow 305. Crystal clear, responds to q's efficiently, anchors responses in strong picture of surrounding info-context already covered. Subtle and intelligent sense of humor. We feel depth of teaching experience and knowledge. Recommend!

An extremly helpful professor. Especially to those frightened by learning a new alphabet and language. Benevolent, wise. Should be the head of his department.
