Mike loves his graphs so pay attention to all the details. Great in lecture and very helpful in office hours if you are struggling with a concept. One of my favorite profs because he always keeps you awake and interested with real-world examples.

Awesome prof, keeps the class entertaining with real world examples. The class itself is kind of hard and his style of teaching is kind of old, but still one of my fav profs. Really nice, brings sweets for students everyday!

He is old and his hearing is bad so you literally have to shout in this class. Graphing is his thing so really pay attention to specifics. Overall though, he kept me awake and I got a good mark.

Going to class was just too much fun. He's so entertaining and his stories are funny even though he veers off the path sometimes lol. He basically gives you the basic info you need to know in class and it is up to you to do your part and do the homework. Theres no surprises on exams if you actually do your work.

Whoa, does he ramble. You don't think what he's saying has any bearing on the class until you're in an exam and remember some silly story and suddenly all the info starts to flow. He is a HARD marker, but he really will help you out if you take an interest and show that you're working. I hated him at first, but he grew on me.

Horrible course, but that is probably because I have no interest in economics at all. Mike is a good instructor, he does tend to ramble, but there is always a point to it. Stay on top of this one, you miss one class you will spend the next two trying to catch back up.

One of the best professors I've had. He is not full of himself, he just knows his subject. His stories aren't pointless, they all relate back to what is being taught. He does tend to use to much time, but that is because he enjoys what he is teaching. If you are interested in economics, then you should take his class.

nallai is so much better at lectures. this guy wastes half the class talking about hisself and things that don't help you learn. he has been there 35 years and its time for him to leave. he told us that this next 2 weeks were gonna be the hardest & the most graphs. we did 6 graphs (its usually more like 20) and didnt learn much.

Every single class runs at least 15 minutes over, sad for someone who has taught for 30yrs. Easily gets sidetracked, brags about his V8 or his expensive house; annoying. If you are not into cars don't bother because 95% of his examples revolve around cars. There are days when you only know the topic you?re studying and rest of the lecture is on V8

What a great guy! He keeps the class really fun and makes sure to show how the course actually relates to real life. You can tell this man adores his job, which always makes things better. The tutorial component is dead useful.
