Rock History was the easiest and most interesting course I ever took at Tech. Mike is a great guy who knows how to mix up the class format between lecture, video, audio examples, and even a bit of piano playing to keep students interested. Three exams and a fairly easy research paper make up the graded material. Would take any class from him.

Mike is Awsome! He is so knowledgeable about Rock History he has an enormous amount of facts in his head. He makes the class fun by changing it up from lecture, to DVD, to him playing instruments and piano to get his points across. He keeps it fun they need more like him around, don't teach everything like Engineering!!!

This guy is awesome. He's over 50 years old, yet has the mentality, humor, and energy of someone just over 30. If you don't get something, he's a real easy person to talk to. I've had some of the most fun times with the Jazz Lab Band, many of which I have Mike to thank for.

i would actually rate him a 947,743,748,231,950,053,001 i mean this cat can dig it! he knows everything there is to music, especially jazz. listen ask him anythig you want about music and this cat will groove to it.
