Parsons is a beast! He's very enthusiastic about teaching and will always make time if you have questions. I would definitely take his class again of I could. The tests are straightforward and you have plenty of time. The final is just like another test, non-cumulative. He gets everybody talking everyday, so be ready to share something to the class

The class is fairly easy. There are a few tests throughout the semester. The finial is non cumulative. There are two essays. The first draft is written in class with an outline. You are graded with feedback and rewrite it for a final grade. There is homework for almost every class, but it is pretty simple and usually takes about an hour.

Comment:

Parsons is really a genuine and hilarious guy. You have to pay attention in class because he tends to go over subjects quickly, but if you took Spanish in high school you'll be find because the class consists mostly of reviewing that material. The homework is easy and there are quite a few tests but they are not bad. I really enjoyed having him!

He's an okay teacher. I didn't learn much this year. All the homework was online and there was an assignment due everyday before class that took an hour at most. Over all it's an easy class but it is very boring. He's a great guy and wants to get to know you on a personal level but the class is just going over what we did online.

This class is very demanding, you are given homework every class. The tests are 4 to 5 pages long and cover a lot of material. He is willing to go over the test with you, but you need to come to class prepared if you hope to do well. Be ready for him to talk in only Spanish. only take the class if you have easier courses it is very time consuming.

I had another professor first semester then couldnt take him and take this guy. He isn't helpful and I asked how I could get a better grade and he said study harder. Not very helpful. His study guides are useless. He grades ridiculously hard. Take a different professor.Nice guy but not my favorite professor.

He's a good professor-lectures are sometimes boring, but he's helpful and will answer any questions you have, be sure to do the hw and you'll be fine. Oh yeah, you have to find a certain way to study for his tests, then you'll ace them. If you just skim the material, you'll get around a 65 probably.
