Richardson is an AMAZING professor. He's passionate about his subject and his students. Super fun class, by far my favorite this semester. Just a tip, the book review assignment is to be written in third person. Super worth taking this class, it's amazing!

Comment:

Fun class, but effort is required to get a good grade. Very Christian point of view. Very funny man, and uses real life examples to make points. Lot's of experience with the subject matter. Not an overly academic course, not AS useful as expected, but interesting...a bit like attending a pre-marital seminar.

This class is the reason I came to TWU. Super great guy once you get to know him. Easy marker, easy final if you paid any attention in class, open book midterm. Great GPA booster and a valuable class for everyone to take!

This professor teaches an enjoyable Marriage and Family class, but his marking scheme is rediculous. Some things (personal response) are instant 100%, but he makes up for these with extremely difficult marking on the book review and the final. Despite a very difficult final he left the next day for Africa, providing no feedback nor email replies.

Biggest joke of a class I have ever taken. It was a waste of time to go to class and the professor didn't help. His assignments were a waste of time and he wasn't very helpful when it came to emails. He lost my presentation convienentaly on the day I was supposed to present.

Very unconsistent marker. The quizzes were easy if you read the chapters, the little assignments were super easy, midterm was in groups (open book!) BUT he was so unclear with the Book Review and marked it WAY harder than anything I've ever written before. Stupid. But, he did make class interesting!

Amazing, dynamic, clear and interesting communicator and educator. Every prof at TWU is a teacher, but not even half are true educators. This dude's got it all. He gives real life examples and has great lectures (powerpoint notes with video clips and music). Openbook midterm, can do it in partners..
