Very knowledgeable on his topics. He lectures a lot, but he does it in a manner that I found engaging, especially the topic of HIST107. He tells you exactly what to study for the exams. D-groups are a nice reprieve from lecturing the entire class.

GREAT lectures - knows what information is important and lectures through a conversational dialogue. Very willing to help with papers, studying, lecture materials etc. Nice guy. Extremely knowledgeable! It is hard to get an A in his class, but your hard work does not go unnoticed. I will take many more classes with him!

He loves his history, and it shows. Don't copy just the notes. Need to copy what he says to fill out them out. Tends to stare uncomfortably at one particular student for long periods of time, best is to have a notebook to begin writing into. Write whatever, doesn't matter, just use as excuse to break eye contact.

He is my favorite history professor at TWU by far. Extremely knowledgable, great lectures, amazing discussions. What I appreciate most about his classes is his ability to facilitate/lead really great dialogue. It's just incredible. I learn so much in his classes... I hope he develops some new courses...or I am going to run out soon!!

great prof!! once you get used to his lecture style, class is great. he was so helpful and was really good about taking questions and discussion in class. he was a fairly hard marker, but also was very willing to help you if you ran stuck. definitely recommended!

This class is always waitlisted! And for good reason. He is a great lecturer easy to listen to and follow. Very smart man, has memorized everything he has ever read. Very nice,helpful & fair prof. Can be a harder marker but is fair.One of the best at TWU!
