Mimi is a wonderful professor, leader, and friend to all. She is very compassionate about what she does, and it's evidently clear upon conversation. She is patient and kind, and most of all, very understanding in all situations. I have taken 2 classes with her and it was always my favorite day of the week :) Take her, you won't regret it!

Mimi was awesome!!!! She by far has been my favorite professor!!! Fairytales in Fiction and film was such a cool class! It's a must take! She is very caring and challenges you to expand your mind and think in the philosophical point of view.

I love Mimi and her class. She gives good feedback and is a very sweet and understanding person. She's pretty lenient with due dates and even checks in with us individually every few weeks to make sure we're all caught up. We watch pretty good movies in class as well. Workload is very doable!

Mimi is one of the top professors at Alverno, and definitely my personal favorite. Not only is Mimi incredibly knowledgeable about the subjects she teaches, she displays a genuine interest and inspires her students to work to the best of their ability. She seems to genuinely care about the different perspectives of all her students. Will miss her.

She is one to help students easily adapt to the love of literature and writing even if they came in there with little interest. She applies a lot of feminist knowledge to studies, making it even more interesting and thought provoking. When I grow up I want to be like Mimi :)
