The lectures are pretty entertaining, but not so much for the tests. This class includes the worst lab I have ever experienced. Every week the people who set the labs up do something wrong. You gain nothing from them.

He's entertaining and very interested in the students. He is very smart and one of the best professors I've had at Penn State. The tests are really difficult, but a large number of questions on the tests are directly from practice tests and tutorial problems, making them manageable. Overall, a pretty good class.

Goofy- if you like that, fine- but I find it obnoxious for a professor that has very few other admirable qualities academically. He seems to know his stuff, but he does a sub-par job teaching it. His tests are hard; not really because of the content, but because the questions are ambiguous, unfair, and poorly written. Also: LAB IS HORRIBLE.

I agree that he is funny and entertaining but he can't teach. You think he can and the tests really aren't bad but when you take the final you find out how much you don't know. Your GPA will drop, most often more than you'd like.

Im a senior biol major and most agree that Dr. Price best prof in the biology department. His lectures are interesting, he posts outlines on powerpoint, and there's nothing on the test that wasn't discussed in class. For those who think this was impossible, consider switching majors because you'll never survive the stuff that is actually hard.

Mitch talks too fast, huge words, and it has been utterly impossible for me to get a good grade in any of the classes I've taken with him. His tests are next to impossible, and the class will lower your GPA-- just a warning. All this praise for him is due to the fact that he's super-entertaining, and really enthusiastic. He just sucks as a teacher.

Mitch Price is a complete **** outside of class. His exams are impossible so my advice is to study as much extra info and then some. Don't be upset if you do poorly but work hard in lab and try to balance things out. The class is tough and if you end up with a good grade, more power to you. If possible take something else.
