Had Begley for Intro to Spanish Lit. I do not have enough space here to tell you how horrible of a professor he was. He might've been decent 20 years ago, but thank goodness he just retired. Just awful, awful, awful. My Spanish actually got drastically WORSE after taking his class.

Prof. Begley is possibly the worst professor here, he gives the syllabus halfway through the year, always shows up late, speaks in spanish the whole class, and his tests and quizzes are impossible to study for, don't take this class... its a chore to get a decent grade

Terrible professor. I challenged his subconsciously **** liberal white hatred once in class, and he has disliked me ever since. If you show any sign of moderate/conservative political views, your grade will suffer tremendously. Consistently late to class, or blew it off altogether. Not Assumption caliber, I want my three thousand dollars back.

He's a nice guy if you show that you're paying attention and trying. He's difficult to understand at first, but once you've taken a couple classes with him it's much easier to grasp his teaching methods. He reviews material every class and makes sure to emphasize what is going to be on the exams. His exams are reasonable and he's willing to help.

HORRIBLE PROFESSOR! One of Assumption's worst. He is so confusing in class. Shows up 10 minutes late to every class, doesnt hand out a syllabus until half way through the semester, and doesn't tell students his office hours. He is soo mean in office hours and gets frustrated answering questions for students. Incomprehensible grading system.

Decent class at best. Mostly a waste of my time. Lectures went over all of the readings so you know what happens even without doing the homework but I was bored to death. Exams could be hard but he scaled grades. Pay attention to lectures and take notes.

He made Intro to. Lit (Comparitive) was endless and boring. The tests were easy - matching and short answers. Classes never followed the syllabus. He was always 10-15 minutes late. He sweats a lot and changes the tone of his voice randomly. He also calls on people randomly and asks stupid questions. I learned nothing. Take him for an easy B/B+.

He is the best english professor that I have ever had. He is extremely clear and concise about all topics. He actually learned our names within the first week, and continues to try to relate items in class to our class. I highly reccomend him as an English professor!
