Avoid this professor. He is impossible to hear, let alone understand. He constantly talks about how wonderful and intellegent he is. Make sure you write word for word what he goes over on the test or you will score poorly. He is very discouraging.

The only redeeming elemtn in this class was the great books. Nice guy, but can't teach; he just throws up Powerpoint notes and sits waiting for the class to copy them, then rambles off topic. His instructions for papers was rather vague. I got an A in the class because I never missed class and did all the assignments. But I didn't enjoy the class.

Outstanding course and knowledgeable professor. He gives numerous examples to clarify all lessons and even proofreads your homework for you. One of the best courses and instructors I have had at CSUF. The material is immediately applicable to your other courses and your career. I have no idea on what the negative raters are basing their scores.

This is an excellent teacher. Extremely helpful and explains all class instruction clearly. If you take good notes and pay attention, this class is great! One of the best teachers on campus.

There are nom reasons as to why this professor is still teaching. He goes on and own about his personal life more then any other subject. Do not sit in front of him or he will talk the entire class period to you. If I were an English major I would be even angrier because I did not learn anything at all in his class.

This is my least favorite professor at CSUF. He seems easy in appearance (shows a lot of movies and does a lot of powerpoint) but the assignments that are actually grades are very poorly outline, which results in low or confusing grading. He is very much an "agree with me or we don't get along" kind of guy.

This is the worst teacher I have ever had.I did not learn anything. He is very hard to understand and is unclear about what he expects from his students. Information he gave the class proved incorrect by other professors. Stay away from this teacher if you care about your education!!!

I learned more about his personal life than technical writing. DO NOT TAKE HIM! He mangled the syllabus, made fun of students (not me, luckily), and wasted time profusely. In one class he rambled for 40 minutes,gave a 15 minute lecture, then let us go early.I took this class so I could have the option of being a technical writer/editor.Still can't.

Hes boring and asks that u do alot of meaningless assignments that take up too much time. Isn't at office hours when hes supposed to be. I got an A in the class but would not recommend him foe either my friend or my enemy his accent doesn't help in the learning process.

This class was recommended, but ended up being hard. Professor is not clear and difficult to understand. Test are a bit difficult, but you earn a lot of points with easy assignments + you get to rewrite them. You have workbook, textbook, and lots of notes from unavailable PPTs (no blackboard). But it does beat taking a reg. Eng. class. Got a B!

If you are looking for a professor that will guide your hand to be a better writer then get to know your fellow students because they are the ones that will grade your papers.
