Evolutionary Analysis - A challenging course but very well taught. She gives a complete outline and you are never blindsided. Each lecture builds on the previous so attendance is really mandatory. All exams are essay questions and require that you know, understand, and can explain the material back to her in written format. I enjoyed her a lot!

Ignore all the comments about only teaching evolution - evolution is the tying factor of all of the class concepts, of course she will emphasize it. She was very good at making you understand evolution as well. She was very interested in the class material, very willing to help and clarify, very good at teaching, and an interesting and kind person.

Moira is a good person, but a bad teacher. Her foucus is evolution and so she lacks in all other fields. She speeds through her powerpoints, which are needed for studying. Tests are all long answer, and if you aren'y exactly sure of what you are trying to say, you are more than likely going to fail. Sorry if you do have her.

Moira was very nice and knew what she was talking about, but all she really talked about was evolution, and all of the theoretical stuff... The tests were weird, because they're subjective essay tests, so you may know exactly what your talking about but it's not what she wants so your kind of screwed... Good for anyone interested in evolution...

This teacher is really hilarious. She teaches nothing she puts on exams then expects you to do well. She said that a 55% was a good grade, yet doesn't curve enough to make it a B or even a C. If you feel like teaching yourself biology, take her.

This woman only cares about teaching evolution...hence her other higher level course. Her tests were 7 full page essays that you had to do in 50 mins. Good luck. If she didn't like you, you were screwed too. If you like evolution, take her class.
