Zelcer is an amazing professor. The material is exremely hard and you must be adamant in doing and redoing the HW. I did horribly on the first exam, because my study habits were lacking. Read the chapter and try the HW before class, ask any questions you have as he goes over it in class, redo the HW multiple times until it becomes memorized.

he's a great professor. Goes over what he assigns on syllabus. Gives a brief idea of the chapter and goes to the homework. He teaches different from the textbook! Use his way to pass exams! Exams are tricky, 3 times harder than homework/class work. Large curve based on class!highly recommend him!redo homework 5 times for exam and you will be good!

Hardest class i've ever taken in accounting so far! his test are extremely hard! but he has the BEST curve that I have ever seen in my LIFE! if you show improvement you will pass! And he is very interesting btw.

he spends more than half of the class talking about other stuff. and when it come to book he just goes goes in the back of the chapter and skim thorugh the questions which are no help for exam. we had to do a portfolio and a term paper which he doesn't even count towards the grade but u've to do it to pass the class.

He is friendly and has a good sense of humor, BUT he spends too time and effort trying to be popular w/students. Does NOT teach much... u are on your own, problems in class are superficially discussed...Expects u to know everything, not much direction nor explanations of topics... which is unfair for the students. He is the best teacher in BC! Brilliant! Amazing teaching technique. Makes everything so interesting and clear. Unfair comments below come from people who don't do the work. He prepare you for real life accounting. Awesome sense of humor, vast knowledge of business world. If you planning to become a CPA you'll love his class. Zelcer rocks!

Yes his exams can be difficult but he does not make anyone feel bad. He is very helpful, funny and gives curves! I suggest you listen to him and DO THE HOMEWORK!!! they are VERY HELPFUL when it comes to studying for his exams
