Trying to get an internship through her is like pulling teeth. She tells you one thing in internship meetings, then tells you another when you meet with her individually. If you can't read her mind she scolds you for not knowing how the system works. Says you can get "any internship" then forces you to apply for the ones SHE thinks are best. AVOID.

This woman will make your internship juvenile rather than professional. She will lecture to the point of self-importance, insist you call her Ms. Brandon (she is not a Dr.), and is just forever in a foul mood. Internship assignments are at best busy work and she relishes in pointing out minor errors she finds that don't conform to her standards.

i hated her class, only went about half the time. all you need to do is read the book and do well on the tests. and yeah she treats her students as though they are in middle school or something. she is the only professor i've had who cares about students leaving to use restroom or eating or being late. get over yourself woman

Wow, what the deal with all the screaming. From day one she'll treat you like you just left grade school. I mean she scream at students during class, internship meetings, etc.. It's bad. The class is a bit boring, but since it's political science it has to be. She gives hand-outs and helps you out when you need it and isn't annoyed at even the dumbest questions. She also has a weird voice thing, she'll randomly raise her voice in the middle of a lecture, it's odd but keeps you awake.

Shes a nice lady, and can make her lectures funny. She has a sense of humor. People say she is boring, but its becuase Political Science is boring...jesus himself couldn't make it interesting. So read the chapters and you will pass...its not hard people!!!

I LOVED this class. Ms. Brandon is very helpful and is one of the few professors I had who will not put you to sleep. She is very helpful and very easy to get along with...she always keeps the class interesting.
