She is really patient and understanding. There is a lot to learn so she expects that homework is done. Her teaching style is awesome because it focuses on repetition. It is easy to learn this way. Classes were organized well and homework was easy. I wish I could take her for SPAN 103.

I don't know whether it was just me, but it seems like she grades really hard. I don't think I did that badly in it yet I got a C. My friend took it during intersession with another lecturer and got an A+ so im kinda iffy on this one

Helpful somedays, but not the next. Sometimes gets frusterated with students who should know more, but only usually if you haven't studied at all. Sometimes seems like she's giving you icy glares, but most likely isn't.

Hard to understand, breaks out in Spanish, unhelpful... assumes you already know the history of certain topics.... unfriendly. I will avoid taking her classes as much as possible, although this is difficult as the Spanish/LAS dept. is very small.

Talks too fast & won't allow interruptions.This is a big problem as she has a very strong accent that makes it difficult to understand quite a number of her words.Too much material to needs to be covered.Really should not be a 100 level course.

Interesting content and videos, but thought Monica could have communicated the material more effectively. With a different prof this class could have been so much better. She was helpful outside of class, just thought lectures were slightly disorganized. A lot of content to memorize!

Very patient when it was really obvious that her students' Spanish skills were frustratingly horrible compared to what she's used to. Always cheery, always helpful, and disturbingly easy on the eyes for someone older than my mother.
